Disney Springs in July is typically lively and bustling. On our most recent visit in early July, the location was nearly empty. This was our first visit to Disney Springs since their reopening, and overall a good experience.
After parking on the first floor of the only open parking garage, and making it through the mandatory temperature check, we ventured into a quiet Disney Springs. It was almost eerie how empty it was. As a local and Disney-goer, I have only witnessed Disney Springs bustling with families and vacationers.
Our first pit stop was at Paradiso 37, a taste of the Americas.

We started off with the Beef Empanada appetizer, which is served with fresh salsa and sour cream. These empanadas were delicious!

For our dinner we tried the Herb Roasted Chicken and Seared Salmon Fillet Entrées. The Herb Roasted Chicken, pictured below, was very tender and had a crispy skin with a savory seasoning. The chicken is served with mashed potatoes, green beans, and a lemon garlic sauce.

Right across the way is The Ganachery, which offers a wide variety of chocolates and other treats. We grabbed a seasonal item, the House-made S’mores! This s’mores is unique with torched vanilla bean marshmallows, chocolate salted caramel ganache, freshly baked graham crackers, and a powdered sugar Mickey!

The s’mores are made to order, and you can watch them being made through the window in the store.
Our last stop was at the new-ish City Works Eatery and Pourhouse close to House of Blues. This venue has over ninety craft beers on tap, with reserved taps for local beer.

During happy hour at City Works, Florida beers are $2 off. We selected the Skyway Hazy IPA from Green Bench Brewing and the Purple Skink IPA from Dead Lizard Brewing in Orlando.
I am very excited for this addition to Disney Springs, as there was a true lack of craft beer selection under one roof throughout the location. We were stuffed from our dinner and dessert, so we did not try any of the food, but I will definitely be returning to give that a try!
Overall the experience at Disney Springs was enjoyable given the short wait times and lack of other guests visiting. The Disney staff are attentive and safety guidelines were being enforced throughout the venue.
