Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is one of my favorite events at Epcot! The floral arrangements, character topiaries, and unique food booths remind you that Spring has Sprung!
Here’s my list of what to look out for while making your way around World Showcase:
Topiaries: There are 25 topiaries located throughout the park. The newest topiary is the “Sunflowers” located in The American Adventure. Pick up a Festival Passport to check off each located as you make your way around the park.
Floral Arrangements and Gardens: In addition to topiaries, there are plenty of floral arrangements and gardens located around the park, even on top of waterways.
Outdoor Kitchens: Outdoor Kitchens are located throughout the park with a variety of garden-fresh flavors. One of my favorite booths, the Florida Fresh booth, is located in between France and Morocco in Epcot Showcase. I ordered the Spicy Blackened Shrimp and Cheddar Cheese Grits with Brown Gravy and Local Sweet Corn Relish.
At the Taste of Marrakesh booth in Morocco the fried cauliflower was a hit! The cauliflower is seasoned with capers, garlic parsley, and chili-ranch sauce, pictured below.
I love when Mickey and other Disney characters are incorporated into the Festivals, especially in the dishes. Below is the Mickey Tart Peanut Butter Mousse with Strawberry Jam and Boba Pearls from Flavor Full Kitchen in Future World West. This tart is every PB&J lovers dream!
I can never pass up the Macarons from the France Pavilion! They are always delicious! This years feature is the Macaron au Chocolat en Sucette, which is a large chocolate Macaron Lollipop from the Fleur de Lys Kitchen.
In addition to the fun activities and tasty treats throughout the park, you can catch a concert during the Garden Rocks Concert Series located in the America Pavilion, and participate in the two family-friendly Scavenger Hunts throughout Epcot during the festival. Enjoy the Festival while it lasts, it ends on June 3rd!
